Swelter has been entertaining crowds for the last five years in Memphis and surrounding areas. Known for playing a variety of covers with a wide selection of alternative rock, Swelter has a mix all their own. In 2006, founding member and bass player Jonas Palmer teamed up with vocalist Stacy Sealy later joined by percussionist Adam Gaines for a winning combination. With the addition of Stew on lead guitar in 2008, Swelter’s set list and stage show have been revamped for a fresh new addition to their already potent rock formula! Their originals jam just as hard with solid rockers like “One Way Ticket” or ballads like “Yesterday, Someday”.
Swelter hosted the New Year’s Eve bash at TJ Mulligan’s Trinity, and will be returning there January 31, 2009.
Weezer, Alice In Chains, Led Zeppelin, Greenday, Janis Joplin, The Doors, and The Cranberries.
