The Memphis Symphony Orchestra’s most popular holiday concert is sure to bring joy and good cheer to young and old alike when it is presented at 8 p.m. Dec. 6, 2008 at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts.

Jason Howland is guest conductor for this concert tradition which is offered as part of MSO’s Pops Series. The concert, billed as a family affair to kick off the holiday season, features guest vocalists Dani Davis and Kevin Duda performing such classics as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “White Christmas” and “Love at Christmas Time” with accompaniment by the Memphis Symphony Chorus.

In addition, Davis and Duda will lead a Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long, allowing patrons to get into the festive music. The chorus, under the direction of Dr. Lawrence Edwards, will also perform renditions of “Hanukkah Rhapsody,” “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
