Memphis Roller Derby (MRD) is a group of more than 50 ferocious women athletes dedicated to their skates, as well as coaches, trainers, referees, and volunteers. Founded in 2006, MRD is composed of four teams: the Hustling' Rollers (national travel team) and three intra-league teams, the Priscilla Presley’s, the Angels of Death, and the Women of Mass Destruction. All skaters are 21 years of age or older and are intimately acquainted with strawberries, bruises, blisters, and abrasions. And yes, that’s with pads.
