“The Seriously Whimsical World of Rollin Kocsis”

When: Friday, December 04, 2009, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Gallery Fifty Six

Cost: Unknown

Age limit: All ages

Categories: Art (opening)

Description: Vibrant, playful paintings (and beautifully hand-painted scarves) warms Gallery Fifty Six with the brightness of the Holiday Season.

At first glance, Rollin’s swirls of cartoon color may appear to be pure fantasy, and quite often are, but unexpectedly, his keen sense of whimsy and cogent observation will combine to draw one into deepening levels of social consciousness.
