ADAM LEVY. Adam Levy is best known for his tenure as the featured guitarist in Norah Jones' Handsome Band. He played on her breakout 2002 disk Come Away with Me, her '04 follow-up Feels Like Home, and her latest CD Not Too Late. He also played guitar for Tracy Chapman's Grammy award winning New Beginnings album which featured the number one single "Give Me One Reason."

In his downtime between steady gigs with Jones, Levy has been onstage and/or in the studio with Rosanne Cash, Amos Lee, M. Ward, and up-and-coming Aussie artist Eran James.

In addition to Levy's skills as a player, he is a gifted songwriter. He penned "In the Morning" for Jones' Feels Like Home, and other artists have recorded his songs as well. There's no doubt, though, that the best way to hear Levy's folk/pop/blues gems is straight from the source.

He is a member of the Folk Alliance and recently spent some time in Memphis producing Charlie Wood's most recent CD, Flutter and Wow on Archer Records.

GRACE ASKEW may be a sixth generation Memphian…but, the soulful roots of her hometown aren’t the only undercurrents running within each song…. With sultry, aching resonance to her crooning and a rustic, guttural songwriting approach, Grace’s unique sound brings a breath of fresh air into the stifled Alt-Country/Soul genre.

Part of Grace’s musical evolution was when she studied under jazz/bossa nova guitar teacher, John Gloria, throughout high school, and ultimately ended up attending college in New Orleans for music. Thus, jazz came to greatly influence Grace’s sound and would ultimately become the “tipping point” to set her off the beaten path and make her stand out from the countless female folkies.

Grace’s technical jazzy/folk tinged style blends itself seamlessly with the Southern grace of her Memphis roots and the pure lyricism of an old-soul. Her discography now includes both her debut EP, ‘Wasted Lipstick’, and her newly-released sophomore EP, ‘Hawthorne’ (which features Grace with Groundspeak in an all-live, two-day, fourteen-hour session at Ardent Studios with Pete Matthews producing once again).

AMBER RUBARTH. California-born singer/songwriter Amber Rubarth is part of the new old-soul generation. Born in the '80s, Rubarth started writing songs by her early teens. Straight out of high school, she gave up the notion of college to work as a sculptor's apprentice, wielding a chainsaw. After a few years of that, Rubarth says she "put down the chainsaw and picked up a guitar." She learned C, D, and G chords and was performing a residency in a New York coffee house within a couple of weeks. Now she bravely and passionately drives around the country performing with fervor and glee.

"You will leave with a crush on her." -- Boston Globe

"I was attracted by her honesty and humor." -- National Public Radio

She has finished hand making 1,000 special collector's editions of her latest CD, Good Mystery. The collectors edition price starts at $25 for a signed numbered copy, on up to $5000. At the higher prices Amber will write a song just for you, perform a concert at your house, or make you a chainsaw sculpture and take you to dinner.
