A free concert, celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be presented by the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.
The MSO’s 15th Annual MLK Tribute, open to the general public, will begin at 7:30 p.m., featuring guest performances by the Central High School Concert Singers and critically acclaimed soprano Kishna Davis.
During the concert program, the Concert Singers and Davis will join the MSO in performing a repertoire of American traditional and gospel songs blending both musical accompaniment and a cappella styles.
Admission to the concert is free; however, tickets are required to attend. Due to the limited number of tickets, members of the public are encouraged to pick them up as soon as possible at the MSO Box Office, 585 S. Mendenhall (East Memphis) from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on concert Saturdays. Tickets are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis to this general admission concert.
