Description: Families are invited to bring their own picnic suppers, lawn chairs and blankets for a night of American music, patriotic tributes and fireworks.
The evening begins with the Southern sounds of bluegrass music from 2-Mule Plow. A member of the West Memphis Fire Department dressed in full turn-out gear will unveil the American flag atop a ladder truck as WMFD officer and local vocalist Wayne Gately sings the National Anthem.
The Bartlett Community Concert Band will present a pops concert of American show tunes and stirring patriotic renditions. For the finale, the orchestra will play flag-waving favorites under a display of fireworks.
