The Daddy Mack Blues Band delivers an evening of authentic urban blues 9 p.m. May 30 at the Center for Southern Folklore Store, 123 S. Main @ Peabody Place Trolley Stop. Admission: $5.

From Paris, TN to Paris, France, the Daddy Mack Blues Band has spread the word that Memphis blues is alive and well. Mechanic by day, bluesman by night, Daddy Mack Orr knows what working hard is all about – whether in his garage or on stage.

Mack and his band-mates, Harold Bonner, James Bonner and William Faulkner bring that work ethic to each and every one of their shows. Over the years, that hard work has paid off as the Daddy Mack Blues Band has established itself as one of the best urban blues bands in the land – and the intimate Center for Southern Folklore Store is the perfect setting to experience this dynamic blues band up close and personal.
