Nov. 12: Sculptor John Bisbee will present “Bright Common” about his sculpture comprising literally tons of welded nails or bright spikes. Bisbee makes his home in Brunswick, Maine where he teaches at Bowdoin College.
Free and open to the public, the lecture begins at 7 p.m. in Blount Auditorium of Buckman Hall.

Nov. 17: Art historian Randall Griffin will present “Christina's World,” focusing on Andrew Wyeth’s painting that presents the illusion of a self-contained world suspended in time and divorced from contemporary life. Griffin is a professor in the Department of Art History at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Free and open to the public, the lecture begins at 7 p.m. in Blount Auditorium of Buckman Hall.
