
Jackson, a native Memphian, is nationally recognized for her artistry; studied with renowned guitar teacher Bunyan Webb; also had master classes with world famous classical guitarists Andreas Segovia and Leo Brower.
She preforms over 200 concerts a year around the country, having entertained U.S senators and congressmen. She has often performed for events for Oklahoma governor and Mrs. Brad and Kim Henry. Her vast repertoire includes, classical music, jazz, show tunes, gospel, Latin musings, rock, blues, and country. Ms. Jackson has opened for acts such as The Platters, The Byrds, Kyle Dillingham and others, as well as played with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra.
Her November concert will include performance of some pieces on the harp-guitar, a newly developed instrument, in additional to the traditional classical guitar. Ms. Jackson also has recorded 10 CD's. She will include on her concert pieces such as "Summertime," "Classical Gas," "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "Rhapsody in Blue," a Beatles medley, and "Hotel California."
