Famed Memphis filmmaker Craig Brewer joins the Memphis Symphony Orchestra to showcase some of the great orchestral works that have shaped his artistic vision and continue to provide him with inspiration.
You don’t want to miss this season opener for MSO’s Grand Series and Pops Series. Walk the red carpet in Hollywood style and enjoy the interaction between Brewer and guest conductor Carolyn Kuan on stage as they engage the audience with stories, visual images and theatrical effects.
MSO cellist Jonathan Kirkscey, who has made cameo appearances in all of Brewer’s films, performs on the program.
