Description: This empowered evening features eight of the best church choirs from the Memphis area competing for the title of “Overall Regional Winner,” over $50,000 in cash and prizes and the opportunity to compete nationally for the title of the “Best Church Choir in America.”

The evening will be hosted by GRAMMY®-winning songwriter, producer, arranger and music director, Donald Lawrence. Lawrence will be joined by well-known gospel superstars including Kurt Carr and Michael Davis.

“How Sweet the Sound” is a celebration of church music sung the way only a church choir can sing it, from traditional to contemporary to everything in between.
