Friday's show is an In The Round Songwriter Night. With all new young artists, two of whom are making their Otherlands debut. Jesse James Davis, Michaela Caitlin, Michael Joyner, and Eva Brewer. The show starts promptly at 8 and will be two sets with a short Break.

JESSE JAMES DAVIS. Jesse, who often uses the stage name Jesse James is making his mark around Memphis in two different bands, Kids and Pets and Jesse James & the Giant Peach. He is an art student and it doesn't hurt that his dad is notable Memphis songwriter Jimmy Davis.

MICHAELA CAITLIN. Michaela is a brand new indie/folk songwriter in Memphis. This is her Otherlands debut. She lists among her influences: The Decemberists, Devendra Banhart, Regina Spektor, and Memphis band The Warble. Check her out at...

MICHAEL JOYNER. Singer, songwriter Michael Joyner has spent the last few years in Memphis Tennessee perfecting his sound. His music is a mixture of folk, soul, jazz and rock pulling influences from musicians like, Curtis Mayfield and Jimi Hendrix to Nick Drake and Neil Young. Mike got his start playing guitar and co-writing with his band Bella Sun while working with soulster Valencia Robinson as a duo. With the 2008 release of his EP Sit and Wait he has embarked on his solo act.

EVA BREWER. Is a songwriter, guitar player, drummer, professional stagehand. She comes by it honestly. She's the daughter of award winning violin player and multi-instrumentalist Roy Brewer.
