PET PORTRAITS (6:30 p.m. Tuesdays): Starting with drawing from photograhs, learn basic skills in charcoal, pastel, acrylic, and oil to portray pets. Some experience would be helpful.
DRAWING/PAINTING with PASTELS (10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesdays): Enjoy exploring this unique medium which offers the directness of drawing and the rich, varied color of painting. Study with an artist who has been creating works in hard and soft pastels for 30 years.
SEEING/DRAWING as MEDITATION (10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturdays): Based on The Zen of Seeing by Fredrick Franck, this course offers a way of getting in touch with the visible world around us, and through it with ourselves. Process rather than product oriented; the purpose of Seeing/Drawing is to bring out the artist in every person.
