New England Folk Music Archives Steamer Trunk

As part of this year’s Folk Alliance, the Folklore Store will be displaying a multimedia steamer trunk assembled for the New England Folk Music Archives.

This trunk contains oral history recordings from such folk music legends as Utah Phillips and Tom Paxton, and includes several interactive compartments filled with historical folk memorabilia, photographs, and curiosities and displays a variety of video highlights.

The Traveling Folk Archive was designed and created by artist/director Shannon Flattery of Touchable Stories, Inc.
