The Center for Southern Folklore will host the monthly meeting of the Downtown Neighborhood Association on Tuesday, February 23 in the Center’s Folklore Hall at 119 S. Main Street.
The social part of the evening begins at 6 p.m. with the meeting at 6:30 p.m. The special guest speaker will be Mayor A.C. Wharton with other city officials attending.
Admission is free for members and $5.00 for non-members (subscription to a one year membership includes the February meeting).
Veteran bluesmen Blind Mississippi Morris and Brad Webb will perform from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. An assortment of great food will be provided by Bardog.
