The Community Music School at the University of Memphis will host an information night on Thursday, January 7 for anyone interested in learning about programs and classes that will be offered during the spring semester. The Community Music School offers lessons and classes for adults and children of all ages. Faculty from the School will discuss specifics of Suzuki programs, traditional private lessons, group classes and ensembles. The information provided will include a description of each program, benefits, expectations, tuition and dates. Part of the evening will be dedicated to a mini-recital by current students of the School. Refreshments will be served.
The Community Music School was established in 1971 and has an enrollment of over 1200 students. Faculty members include music professionals from throughout the Mid-South. The School is a member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.
