Above Only Bio:
This band was brought together through prayer! We do what we do in service and praise to God! All of our talent is God-given and this is our way of honoring that, but also fulfilling our responsibility to spread the gospel! People...is the passion that has been instilled in us. This band was created for you! It's about hope mainly, but also other life issues that we are confronted with on a daily basis. It's about finding help because we can't do this on our own! It's about love and encouragement! It's about boldness because we can stand on God's promises! It's about gaining strength through Christ to overcome oppression because we're stuck in the middle of a spiritual battle! It's about forgiveness because unforgiveness is a tie that binds us to our pain from hidden wounds and won't let us heal.."What someone may have done to you and meant it for evil, God meant it for good!" It's about joy because we never have to be alone! It's about the desire to be above only! To have life and have have it to the fullest! We eagerly look forward to playing a show near you, meeting you and talking to you about whatever you want to talk about...within limitations haha...and most of all, seeing God work through us as much as we allow him to! We'll be praying for all of you! Be blessed to be a blessing! Never feel overwhelmed for God promises us...when we cry out, he hears us. He can't ignore the brokenhearted! Just a few encouragements!

BTW...we got our band name from Deuteronomy 28:13 " I will make you the head and not the tail; above only; not beneath. " I sometimes get curious as to how bands get their names if they aren't blatantly obvious, so I thought I'd save you the trouble if you were interested! God Bless!

Jamie Randolph & The Dark Horse Bio:
The Darkhorse came through the door of that backhouse that sick, humid night–didn’t know what hit ‘im. Thought it best to try one more time, give it one last run. Oh, that melody had been runnin’ circles in that brain of his for years. Never had the right guns to pull, though. And not the slightest idea what happens to powder when it ages. This night was different; oh how those boots hit those concrete planks. Everyone knew when they saw him, when they heard him talkin’ to the keep. And he’d have that town on their knees before his last run was through. They tried to hide ‘em—the little ones, I mean. But this hunt was ages old. Blood was runnin’ before Grace had even shut her doors for the night. So flip those silly little locks and try to hide in those worn out cellars…..but there ain’t no cellars in hell.

Rainy Day Manuel Bio:
Out of Memphis TN, come a much anticipated four piece known as Rainy Day Manual. Its current members were brought together in Spring of 2007 to begin honing a diverse sound that keeps its audience moving and provides a very uplifting and unique live experience. The band's first official release is due this Summer. The EP "Vox a Copia" is being engineered and produced with Audio Garden Studios in Memphis, TN and hopes to be followed up with multiple releases. With an idea of the sound, here is a quote from the band... "Our music is based largely on melodic songwriting; both instrumentally and vocally. This is only brought to life by an extremely dynamic, creative, and poetic rhythm section. We place no limits on our song structures. Each piece we create has its own personality and mood that can incorporate several styles of music into one song."

Velvet Transit Bio:
Velvet Transit is an up and coming Memphis band of five musicians. Four of the five, Ping (vocals/guitar), JJ (bass), Emily (keys/vocals) and Lambert (percussion) were members of a previous band called Controlled Substance that was established in 2006. Controlled Substance broke up in 2008 and reformed as Velvet Transit adding Mario, a second guitarist to round out their sound. Since inception, Velvet Transit has been busy writing songs and working hard to create their unique sound which is a mixture of Alternative Rock, R&B and Pop with a little Hip Hop thrown in for good measure. Their sound is so unique it almost defies definition, and certainly cannot be contained in any one genre' or catagory which is only one of the many positive aspects of this dynamic group of muscians. Velvet Transit won the Idol Search event, a University of Memphis based audience-judged competition and most recently the "Best of the South" Regional Talent Search held at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, TN. The band will be playing special events and venues regionally and locally in the upcoming months." Every single one of theses events will be a high energy show-stopping experience...be there!
