Thursday Night Live offers the Metal Museum as an exciting, new venue for Memphis music lovers. The program strives to bring new audiences to this city treasure as art and music create a unique Memphis experience. The Metal Museum has partnered with the Memphis Music Foundation to find music organizations to supply talent that represents the diversity of Memphis music.
Each evening is led by an organization that presents live concerts and events - Stax Music Academy, Ardent Records, Latino Memphis and Rebirth of Soul Entertainment. September 2 will be Family Fun Night featuring hands-on activities for children, with subsequent events offering live demonstrations and activities for adults.
Thursday Night Live is presented in partnership with The Memphis Music Foundation, Center City Commission, Mahaffey Tent Co., Catering for U and ArtsMemphis.
Admission is $5. Members are free. Food and beverage will be sold separately and will correspond to the style of music performed each evening.
Founded in 1976, the Metal Museum is the only Museum in the Americas dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the art and craft of fine metalwork.
Located at 374 Metal Museum Drive, the Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, noon – 5 pm.
