The first Thursday of every month. Gather with your friends at the corner of Cooper Street and Young Avenue to enjoy live music by local Memphis solos and groups. Stroll around the neighborhood to enjoy discounts on everything from garter belts and sushi to Moon pizza and brass cymbals.
First Thursday Night Out in Cooper Young is when area independent business owners stay open late and dish it all up. Live music can be found at the Neighborhood Gazebo located at the corner of Cooper Street and Young Avenue and in other restaurant venues up and down the street. Browse and enjoy refreshments at local antique and retail shops while you are here. Be sure to sign up for drawings and giveaways.
Night Out starts promptly at 5:00 pm. The antique and retail shops are open until 9:00 pm and the restaurants and bars usually stay open until well past midnight.
