Ever wonder what it’d be like having your own Greek chorus to narrate the tragic events of your life? Or if WKNO hired a morning zoo deejay to spice up its stodgy accident reports?

Chatterbox Audio Theater ponders the absurd in its latest broadcast, “Sight Gag 2,” an original sketch comedy show recorded at Germantown Community Theatre in March.

The 30-minute show can be heard at chatterboxtheater.org (click here) or can be downloaded as a podcast on iTunes.

The production features scripts and vocal talents of local stage actors Marques Brown, Henry McDaniel and Matt Reed among others.

Earlier this month, Chatterbox won a silver Ogle award for its three-part horror story, “The Dead Girl,” written by Kyle Hatley. The award is presented by the American Society for Science Fiction Audio. That podcast is also available in its entirety on the site.
