Michael Donahue’s After Dark: If you like choppers and hogs, Bike Night on Beale on Wednesdays is the place to be.
Depending on the weather, there could be more than 100 local and out-of-town bikers showing off their motorcycles, networking and patronizing the night spots.
Bikes are parked up and down the street. If you don’t have a bike, but you want to move, there’s live music on the street, too.

Mr.Donahue,
I'm not sure what night you've gone to bike night on Beale Street or how you were able to state that "...there could be more than 100 local and out-of-town bikers..." out for this night. As a rider and participant on this night, I know first hand that there are ALWAYS several hundred bikes and at times close to a 1000 local; as well as, out of town bikers out for this night. Also, there are more "styles" of bikes represented on bike night other than "choppers" or "hogs". On this night, there are "cruisers" and "crotch rockets" represented, as well. With your story, it seriously diminishes the totality of what is truly represented on this night of fellowship and fun on Beale Street.
