Shake, Rattle & Bowl Party: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Strike Zone Bowling Alley, 3330 Pine Tar Alley, Southaven, Miss. Activities include bowling, billiards, an Elvis trivia contest, Elvis karaoke and lots of fun surprises. Elvis clips and music playing throughout the entire facility. Forty years after Elvis Presley returned to the stage at the International Hotel in Las Vegas, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., will reunite many of the original cast for a concert celebration. Images of the King Contest: The 23rd annual contest will be held at Holiday Inn Select Airport. Contest begins at 7 p.m. each evening. There also will be an associated bus tour, a "Show of Champions" and a champagne breakfast on Sunday. Tickets begin at $15. Elvis Plaque Presentation from Sony Music: 5 p.m. The Plaza Green at Graceland. Join executives from Sony Music, EPE and fans from around the world for a presentation of plaques that honor Elvis' recent worldwide gold, silver and platinum achievements.
Candlelight Vigil: 8:30 p.m. Gates of Graceland Mansion. After an opening ceremony at the gates of the Graceland Mansion property, fans are invited to walk up the driveway to Elvis's grave site and back down carrying a candle in quiet remembrance. Free admission. No tickets or reservations. Gates remain open until all who wish to participate have done so. Free parking at the Graceland visitor center complex after 6 p.m.
Sunday
Elvis Memorial Service: Noon at University of Memphis Theatre & Communications Building, 3745 Central. Free admission.
Elvis Mafia Reunion: 5 p.m. at Alfred's, 197 Beale. Admission: $40 (part of proceeds donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center).
