Breakfast at Three Little Pigs on Quince is a tasty bargain at less than $4.Jennifer BiggsThe Commercial Appeal
I love breakfast food and going out for breakfast, but I can't bear to wait in line -- and you know the places I'm talking about... The solution is Three Little Pigs on Quince, which I unhappily admit I often forget about when the breakfast urge strikes. I remembered this week, though, and now I've reminded you.
It's one of the best deals around: We had two breakfasts, each with two eggs cooked to order, your choice of two bacon strips or sausage patties, toast or biscuits and two bottomless cups of coffee for $10.47. No waiting, and the service behind the counter is as friendly as the customers who wish each other a good morning and a nice day as they come and go.
There's a country ham breakfast platter that features a huge slab (along with the eggs and such) for less than $7; I considered it but decided that with a busy day running here and there in front of me, I didn't have time to be searching out water fountains. When someone else ordered it and I got a good look, though, I admit I had a bit of pork envy...
