Best bets: Breakfast
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? And while there are plenty of good places to grab a bite and a cuppa around town, sometimes the wait can be unbearable. I'm not one for doing lines, and I'm going to let you in on a secret.

Head over to your local Holiday Deli & Ham Co. They started serving breakfast a few months ago and we've enjoyed several leisurely mornings there. You can choose from a sausage patty on a big Sister Schubert roll, the sausage and egg casserole pictured here (my daughter's favorite), or the Baja breakfast wrap, among other selections.
I particularly like the wrap, with lightly sauteed strips of red and green peppers tucked in a tortilla with sausage, eggs, cheese and pico de gallo. The quiche is also nice, and whatever you choose, you get it on a real plate with real flatware. The line is short and there are no plastic utensils to fight with.
Check it out. Breakfast is served 6:30-10 a.m.
