Best Bets: Ceviche and a michelada
Ceviche and a michelada: Two things that go together like cheese and crackers, peanut butter and chocolate, coffee and doughnuts.
The place for both is La Playita, where the ceviche is tangy with lime, firm and fresh, and the michelada is spicy, cold and refreshing.

A ceviche tostada and a michelada at La Playita really hits the spot.

Quick lesson: Ceviche is seafood that is "cooked" in citrus juice instead of with heat. Tomatoes, peppers, maybe a littles onion and cilantro dress it up.
Think of a michelada as a Bloody Mary made with beer, though it's a bit different. Lime juice, hot sauce and a dash of Worcestershire or Maggi sauce are added to a cold beer, which is served over ice in a glass with a salted rim.
¡Delicioso!
You'll find ceviche and micheladas in many Mexican restaurants, but the combo at La Playita can't be beat. Drop in on a hot afternoon for a pick-me-up at the cocktail hour.
