Best Bets: Bach's Lunch
I was down on the mall with friends, looking for a particular hot dog vendor they like. We couldn't find him and it was muggy and hot outside, so sitting inside Bach's Lunch sounded like a nice respite.

I'll be going back, for sure. Take a look at this salad plate: It's anchored on one end by a lemony, slightly creamy pasta salad; in the middle, there's a tangy mix of marinated broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and onion; and I chose tender-crisp edamame to round out my three choices.
The sides are a la carte and they're $1.50 apiece. For less than $5, including tax and a cup of ice water, I ate a satisfying and good-for-me lunch, plus I took about half of it back to the office.
We ate at Bach's in Morgan Keegan Tower, but there are several Bach's Lunch locations around town; call 432-2224 to find the one closest to you. See the full menu at bachslunchonline.com.
