Best bets: Tea
As I know I've mentioned before, my grandmother's tea was divine, yet her tap water had an off flavor -- I think it's what made the tea so great (plus the sugar, of course). I take mine with lemon or lime, and a touch of fresh mint in the summer makes it even better. My daughter will only drink tea from McAlister's, half sweet and half unsweetened.

The question is: Who do you think makes the best tea in town? Here are responses from Whining & Dining readers:
Terri: Bronte's fruit tea is pretty good.
RB: In no particular order... Little Tea Shop, Bogey's, Backyard Burger, Holiday Ham, Lenny's, Chick-fil-A, Central BBQ.
CaroleH: McAlister's & Jack Pirtle's are hard to beat for me. ... I even enjoy the occasional Mickey D's sweet tea if I'm out running errands & need to quench my thirst between stops. ...
Fred: I agree, the McAllister's tea is good. They will even mix their lemonade/tea to make a combo drink. ... Some KFC's have good tea, so does Chick-fil-A, and Captain D's has really good tea. Krystal has good tea but like KFC, it varies from restaurant to restaurant. ...
Matt: Does Thai iced tea qualify? I love getting that at Jasmine. Sauces has a very yummy mint iced tea. And I'm a fan of the Tazmango iced tea at Outback, too.
