Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth is getting her own reality show -- and with Donald Trump, no less.

"Omarosa's Ultimate Merger" won't be yet another stab at working for the big cheese -- this time it's all about the current seminary student finding a mate. She'll be choosing from a dozen potential suitors.

Donald Trump is producing a new reality-TV series, "Omarosa's Ultimate Merger," starring Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.

"Omarosa was a great personality on 'The Apprentice' that was watched by over 40 million people as it became the No. 1 show on TV," says Trump, who's producing the series for the TV One network.

This isn't Omarosa's first, second or even third time at the reality-television dog and pony show. In addition to "The Apprentice" and "Celebrity Apprentice," she tangled with Janice Dickinson on "The Surreal Life," got competitive on the "Battle of the Network Reality Stars" and made brief appearances on "Fear Factor," "Celebrity Poker Showdown" and "I Love New York."

Letterman blackmail denied

The TV news producer accused of blackmailing David Letterman has asked a New York City judge to dismiss the extortion case against him.

A lawyer for Robert J. "Joe" Halderman says the TV producer was only trying to sell a screenplay when he contacted Letterman.

Halderman appeared Tuesday in a Manhattan court. Prosecutors say he demanded $2 million to keep quiet about the late-night comic's sexual affairs with staffers. He is charged with attempted first-degree grand larceny.

Halderman's attorney, Gerald Shargel, says he plans to challenge the evidence presented to a grand jury.

Denzel returning to Broadway

Denzel Washington plans to return to the New York stage next spring in a revival of August Wilson's "Fences."

Producers Carole Shorenstein Hays and Scott Rudin say the play will open in April. The production will be directed by Kenny Leon, who directed Wilson's "Radio Golf" and "Gem of the Ocean" on Broadway.

Vampires are vogue

Nominees for the People's Choice Awards are out, and the people choose vampires.

"Twilight" and "True Blood" were among the top nominees announced Tuesday.

"Twilight" is up for favorite movie, franchise and on-screen team for its trio of stars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Stewart and Pattinson were also nominated individually for favorite movie actress and actor.

"True Blood" was nominated for favorite TV obsession and sci-fi/fantasy TV show, plus star Anna Paquin earned a nod for TV drama actress.

The People's Choice Awards are Jan. 6.
