Tuesday

Cafe Society and John Vego with Buster's hosts a tasting at 6:30 p.m. featuring six wines from Northern California. Wines and cheese are $25; additional small plates by chef Cullen Kent are $5. 212 N. Evergreen. Call 722-2177 for reservations.

Owen Brennan's chef Scott Delarme and sommelier Chris Thorn host a multicourse wine dinner with United Liquors at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required and seating is limited; call 761-7990. $48; 6150 Poplar.

Currents, 50 Harbor Town Square, hosts a four-course wine dinner at 7 p.m. featuring Familia Zuccardi-Santa Julia wines from Argentina. Leandro Lowi from the Familia Zuccardi Wines will be doing the commentary, in cooperation with Oscar Vego of Star Distributors. Menu by chef David Schrier. $59; call 260-3300.

The Blue Fish and Star Distributors host a wine dinner at the restaurant at 7 p.m., featuring Ferrari Carano wines. Five courses, four wines, $60. 2149 Young; call 725-0230 for reservations.

Wednesday

Michael Hughes with Joe's Wines and Liquors and Karen Massey with Delta Wholesale host a three-course wine dinner at Automatic Slim's, 83 S. Second St., at 6:30 p.m. $40; call 525-7948 for reservations.

Thursday

The wines of B.R. Cohn will be featured at a wine dinner at Napa Cafe, 5101 Sanderlin. Brian Fowler from B.R. Cohn will be in attendance to present the wines. In addition to the wines, each of the five courses will have either a B.R. Cohn vinegar or oil incorporated into them. $75; call 683-0441 for reservations.
