Producers of a family-friendly feature film now shooting in Shelby County are seeking extras today and Wednesday for sequences at the Agricenter Showplace Arena, 105 S. Germantown Parkway at Walnut Grove.
Volunteer extras are needed until 6 p.m. today and from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the arena.
The movie, which carries the working title “Fandango,” is the story of a champion rider, a plucky young girl and a top Paso Fino horse named Fandango.
Extras would participate in crowd scenes at a staged Paso Fino competitive exhibition at the arena, featuring stars Luke Perry and Armand Assante. (Ernest Borgnine, previously announced as a “Fandango” star, has dropped out of the project.)
