A lawsuit against actor Gary Coleman and his wife, Shannon Price, has been settled in Utah.
An attorney said Thursday that a personal-injury lawsuit against actor Gary Coleman and his wife over an incident at a Utah bowling alley has been settled.
Dustin Lance, the attorney for Colt Rushton, said his client's suit against Coleman and Shannon Price was settled within the last 30 days. Salt Lake City court records show the suit was dismissed Tuesday.
Lance said he couldn't discuss the terms of the settlement.
Rushton sued Coleman over a September 2008 incident in which the actor allegedly hit Rushton with his truck in a Payson bowling alley parking lot after an altercation over photos.
In December 2008, Coleman pleaded no contest to a disorderly-conduct charge stemming from the incident and was ordered to pay a $100 fine.
Coleman's attorney, Terry Plant, didn't immediately return a message seeking comment Thursday.
Harvard to fete Hathaway
Oscar-nominated actress Anne Hathaway can add another honor to her list: a Hasty Pudding award.
She will receive the award at a roast scheduled for Jan. 28 by Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard University. It's the nation's oldest undergraduate drama troupe.
The roast features the Harvard men in drag and takes place after a parade down Massachusetts Avenue near the university in Cambridge, Mass.
Hathaway made her name as a teen in "The Princess Diaries" and has shown her acting range in comedies such as "Get Smart" and dramas such as "Brokeback Mountain."
She was nominated for an Academy Award for best actress in 2009 for her role in "Rachel Getting Married."
Recent honorees have included Renee Zellweger, Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johansson.
No jail for star chef's ex
Todd English's former fiancee is headed for anger-management class after being charged with hitting the celebrity chef with a metal wristwatch in New York City.
A New York judge agreed Thursday to close Erica Wang's assault case without prison time or probation if she completes the anger-management program and 10 hours of community service.
Police say Wang gave English a black eye during an argument Sept. 14. He needed seven stitches.
English owns the Olives chain and has appeared on Bravo's "Top Chef." He called off the couple's Oct. 3 wedding shortly before the confrontation.
