Playhouse on the Square presents "Footloose," a wine tasting to benefit SRVS, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $33 in person, at 51 S. Cooper, or $35 by phone, (901) 726-4656. The box office is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 1 p.m.- 5 p.m. Sunday.
Wednesday
Acre hosts its first wine dinner, featuring a five-course tasting menu paired with Martinelli Winery wines, at 7 p.m. Regina Martinelli will attend. $100; call 818-2273 for reservations. Seating is very limited. 690 S. Perkins.
Thursday
Café 1912 celebrates Bastille Day with music, decorations and a three-course prix fixe menu along with its regular menu. The prix fixe is $35 (salmon entrée) or $41 (lamb chop entrée). Call 722-2700 for reservations. 243 S. Cooper; seating any time between 5-9:30 p.m.
