Plan ahead

On Nov. 4, there's Sip Around the World from 7 to 10 p.m. at Memphis Botanic Garden. Tickets are $65 ($75 on the day of the event) for food, music and more than 100 wines, and an additional $35 gets you in the Champagne Lounge. Call (901) 683-6185.

The March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction is Nov. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hilton Memphis, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. Tickets are $150; call (901) 590-1722.

From 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 6, the Memphis Farmers Market celebrates the 2011 Harvest Celebration at Central Station Pavilion Downtown, featuring food from numerous restaurants. Beer and wine is included, and tickets are $55 in advance and $60 at the door. Purchase online at memphisfarmersmarket.com
