Thursday
The Memphis Botanic Garden hosts Botanical Biergarten, 6-9 p.m. Sample beers from around the world and enjoy a European-like event in the great outdoors including live music by George McConnell & the Nonchalants. Food pairings from local restaurants will compliment a large variety of beers provided by Southwestern Beverage Distributing. All proceeds benefit both the Memphis Botanic Garden and Harwood Center. Plan ahead
Bari will host a fall vegetarian wine dinner with Zaccagnini on Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Ottavio Ruggieri, who is the Southeastern division manager at Wines Unlimited Inc., will be here to talk about the Zaccagnini wines from Abruzzo. The dinner will be a five-course vegetarian dinner paired with the Zaccagnini wines. $65. Reservations are required for this event.
