The fifth Swine & Wine dinners will be held Friday and Saturday at Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, 712 W. Brookhaven Circle, beginning with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. both nights. Tuesday

Memphis Botanic Garden, 750 Cherry, kicks off its 2013 Tuesdays on the Terrace wine series with a Mardi Gras party from 6-8 p.m. Celebrate with live Dixieland jazz, wine and New Orleans-style hors d'oeuvres, king cake and more. Tickets: $25 for members, $35 for nonmembers. Call 901-636-4131.

Thursday

Eighty3, 83 Madison, will host a 10-course Valentine's Day dinner with 18 different dishes. $75; make reservations by calling 901-333-1224 or on opentable.com. Seatings are available at 6 and 9 p.m. A credit card is required to hold the reservation, and a 48-hour cancellation notice or change in party size is requested. Beverage pairings will also be offered, and guests can pre-order Champagne.

Madison Hotel will host a chocolate bar from 8 to 11 p.m. for $32, which includes tax and gratuity. Guests can also order wine and Champagne to pair with the chocolate from a suggested menu. 79 Madison; call 901-333-1200.

Thursday

Capriccio Grill in The Peabody hosts a three-course Valentine's dinner with a split of Champagne from 4-10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.. $75; call 901-529-4199 for reservations.
