Playhouse 51 hosting open auditions for The Psychic

Auditions will be held for Playhouse 51's next production, "The Psychic" at the Harvell Civic Center, Jan. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon. The murder mystery follows the chaotic life of Adam Webster, a down on his luck writer, who has put a sign in his apartment window in desperation to make rent: "Psychic Readings $25." The sign soon draws in a colorful group of characters.

Needed for the production are four men, ages 30-50, and two women, ages mid 20s to 40. Characters available are Adam Webster — A mystery writer; Laura Benson — an attractive woman; Roy Benson — Laura's husband; Rita Malone — Roy's sexy girlfriend; Johnny Bubbles — a gangster type; and Norris Coslow — An NYPD Detective.
