B.B. King’s Blues Club on Beale reopened Friday after repairs from a recent fire.

The blaze erupted just before 1 a.m. on Oct. 7 at the club at 143 Beale. The single-alarm fire started in the kitchen then spread to the Itta Bena restaurant on the third floor of the building as well as the building at 147 Beale. No one was injured, but the damage took about a month to repair.

The club expects to reopen for lunch, followed by Will Tucker performing at 5 p.m. and the B.B. King’s All-Stars taking the stage at 9 p.m.
