  • Brittany Keyser (right),  her twin sister, Blaire Keyser, and Robert Mobley were at  Friday's  Comcast Firecracker 5K for St. Jude, a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
  • Shelly Price and Isaac Mergen ran the Comcast Firecracker 5K for St. Jude in honor of the late Tami Thompson.
  • Luke Lovelace came in first  in the male overall  division at 15 minutes and 35 seconds in the Comcast Firecracker 5K. His sister, Erin Lovelace, ran the race in   21 minutes and four seconds.

  • Connie Lampen (second from right) is this year's guest artist for  the Shelby Residential and Vocational Services Spirit of SRVS Auction Affair. Her painting, 'Wine, Music and Happiness,' was unveiled at the recent Playhouse on the Square benefit. With her are Jeffrie Bruton (from left), John Barzizza and the Auction Affair co-chairmen John and Anne Wesberry.
  • Nick Vergos and his son, Nicholas Vergos, were at the pairings party for the Shaun Micheel Make-A-Wish Golf Classic at the Vergoses' restaurant,  Rendezvous.
