  • Carnival Memphis king Michael Lightman (from left), queen Elizabeth Parrish and president John Phillips IV kicked off the live auction at Saturday night's Krewes for Kids fundraiser at the Hilton Memphis. More than 350 attended. Proceeds from the silent and live auctions will go to this year's Carnival Children's Charity Initiative recipients: Boy Scouts ScoutReach Program, Jubilee Schools and School Advocates for Vision & Education (SAVE). Gary Escoe & the Atomic Dance Machine performed.
