The restaurant has seen a couple of changes since it was sold by Karen Carrier in 2008 and now offers a Southern-inspired upscale menu. The funky-cool decor remains the same and the popularity of signature drinks for the after-work and later-night crowd remains a strong pull. Full bar.

One of the best places to eat in Memphis. Great Caribbean food and service in a very interesting space, with a lively crowd on the weekends.

We are new to Memphis and stopped here during a visit from our parents. When we sat down I was abashed that I had suggested Slim's based on a review because our parents were paying and I did not realize the price point. Even so, everyone was happy with the food and service. We went somewhat early on a Tuesday and it was relatively quiet. The server was efficient and accommodated our special requests.
