A Memphis institution since 1923, the original Coletta’s is an old-school Italian establishment that would not have been out of place in New York’s Little Italy. Homemade dishes such as lasagna, ravioli and spumoni, as well as the locally flavored barbecue spaghetti and barbecue pizza (reportedly Elvis’s favorite), are among the favorites. The much-newer Bartlett location has a different menu than the original on S. Parkway; check the website to get a feel for both. Open daily.
