Biography
Daniel Connolly is a Memphis native who graduated from White Station High School and Kenyon College in Ohio. He worked for the Birmingham Post-Herald in Alabama and The Associated Press in Little Rock before joining The Commercial Appeal’s business desk in August 2006 to cover health care. He now covers Shelby County government as well as Memphis Light, Gas and Water division. He also writes about immigration. Connolly is a member of the professional association Investigative Reporters and Editors. He speaks both German and Spanish and enjoys long-distance running and judo. He always welcomes calls and e-mails from readers.-
