well that says ALOT about Memphis, TN doesnt it, when the title of a show "MEMPHIS BEAT" is filmed In New Orleans. If they wanted to film in New orleans they should have named the show New Orleans Beat!! Hey, thats false advertising

One of my favorites is Charlie. Great voice! Everyone knows what great musicians are right here in Memphis. But isnt it a shame our wonderful talent has to leave Memphis and go somewhere else to get the recognition they deserve? Good Luck Charlie, you deserve all the fortune in the world.

went to Overton Park to hear the music and my goodness we had a blast. Hill Country Revue is about the best music I have heard in a long time. This ole woman shook it with the best of them.They can play their intruments like wild men. If I was a few years younger I would put the moves on the drummer, "Hot".hee hee.who says an old woman cant have fantasies. yeee hi.

God Bless Cody's new band. My husband of 42 years took me, my aunt and her cousin to hear the Hill Country Revue. I have heard them on tape but never at a show. They got a great band and all the talent in the group is freaky. The brother ( you know I say that cause he is black like me) who plays those drums is probably the best drummer these old ears have ever heard. I just love going to listen to these young people who can really play their instruments and sing. That boy that stands up and sings and he plays a harp, I like him too. I aint never heard so much fine music in my life.

well it figures. another negative review for Memphis musicians.No wonder hardly ANYONE makes it big out of Memphis. Memphis is too busy dissing their own. I would make a small bet, he didnt listen to all of it. Probably about 15 seconds of each song, at best. In all fairness, that's what the record label people do from what I have heard over the years. if they dont like the first 10-15 seconds they go to the next one.But it aint fair. Oh well. There are alot of people who love FREEWORLD no matter what a music critic writes. But its a shame.

Chris should be singing more.Never understood why he didnt sing more. Havent heard much about his new band. Also, I have seen one of his partners, Kirk Smithhart perform with his band about 10 times. Kirk Smithhart has a gift and he is about the most under-rated musician I have ever seen.Dont he come from these parts?? My brothers all play bass guitar and drums,( and have played with big time acts) but when they speak of guitar they mention Kirk's name. so I aint no dumb a** here. Good luck to Chris and Kirk.

just dont park in the GAS station parking lot. They will TOW your car. Its a scam. There are no signs posted that says you cant park there but they will TOW it faster than you can blink an eye.
