I want to ask Chips if he recalls my grandfather, Johnny Davis, overdubbing trumpet on a couple of songs from From Elvis in Memphis at American Sound. He's passed now but supposedly he got a phone call at 2am because they needed him to come in to hit some of the higher horn parts that Wayne couldn't hit.
